Camping at Maverick Festival

Our Ranger ticket includes camping on Friday and Saturday night. Whether you arrive with your own tent or camper van or prefer one of our bell tents, being on site is the best way to experience the festival.

with the ranger ticket you can book the bell tents or simply bring your own tent.

You will need a campervan pass if you have a vehicle to sleep in

TENTS AND CAMPER VANS

Camping at Maverick is relaxed. The campsite is set in a beautiful meadow with plenty of space to spread out. You can camp with friends or maybe you’d prefer a peaceful spot, it’s up to you. There’s even a special area for camper vans, caravans and motor-homes. We like to keep the campsite free of cars, which must be parked in a nearby field. If you need help transporting your stuff on the short trip to the camping area, volunteers will be on hand. A Ranger ticket will get you two nights camping (Friday and Saturday).

MINT MEADOW BELL TENTS

Camping is just that bit easier with a bell tent, pre-erected on Mint Meadow, a secluded site only minutes from all the action. You can chose from a basic tent and ground-sheet or go to town with beds, feather bedding and furniture. Please book your bell tents direct with Magical Camping by clicking below and check out all the options. (Remember you still need to purchase RANGER weekend camping tickets.)

HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR RANGER TICKET YET?

ARRIVING AT THE FESTIVAL SITE

You will be met on the road approaching the site by our parking staff and they will direct you to the appropriate entrance and parking area.  We have dedicated gates for day-ticket holders,  tent campers and a separate one for camper vans, caravans and motorhomes. If you have tickets you can go straight to the appropriate gate and be admitted.  You will collect your wristband as you enter the Showgrounds. Please note, if you do not have tickets then you must go to the box office at the main entrance before proceeding to the campsite.

General campers are welcome on site from 3pm.                                      EARLYBIRD and HOMESTEADER pass holders can enter from 1pm

LEAVING THE SITE

We’d like everyone to leave the site by 4pm on Sunday so that the Suffolk Punch horses can be returned to their meadow.

ON-SITE FACILITIES

Portable toilets are conveniently placed around the campsite and in the Farm Park you’ll find plumbed toilet blocks with basins and hot water, as well as a shower block. For your security and peace of mind the site is patrolled throughout the night.

WE WELCOME DOGS AND CHILDREN

We welcome considerate dog owners and their dogs at our festival but please make sure they’re on a lead at all times. Considerate parents and their children are encouraged at Maverick – no leads necessary.
