COVID-19 POLICY MAVERICK FESTIVAL 2021
OUR GOAL IS TO ENSURE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL OUR VISITORS, STAFF AND PERFORMERS SO THAT THEY MAY ENJOY THE EVENT WITHOUT ANXIETY. TO THAT END, WE ASK FOR PATIENCE, TOLERANCE AND MUTUAL RESPECT AS WE IMPLEMENT THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES
Visitors are asked to take a lateral flow test no more than 72 hours before the event and be prepared to show evidence of a negative test. Staff and performers must also take a lateral flow test and be fully vaccinated. In the event that a ticket holder tests positive and entry is denied a full refund will be offered.
We will turn people with COVID-19 symptoms away. Staff members, performers or visitors should self-isolate if they or someone in their household has a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loses/has changes to their sense of taste or smell, even if these symptoms are mild. They must also self-isolate if they or someone in their household has had a positive COVID-19 result, or if they have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
Provide adequate ventilation to all stages. Windows and doors will be removed where possible or left open. Microphones, stands and instruments to be sanitized between performances with change over times extended to allow for this.
Clean more often. Bar surfaces, handrails, toilet and shower facilities and other frequently used surfaces to be regularly cleaned. Staff and customers to use the hand sanitiser provided and clean their hands frequently
Traders have completed their own risk management assessments. Hand sanitiser to be available, all surfaces to be cleaned between servings and social distancing to be observed in the placement of any seating and tables and when ordering.
E-tickets have been issued where possible. Visitors‘ tickets will be scanned on entry to reduce queuing. Guests, staff and artists will enter via separate gates and use the same process to further reduce queuing. We will provide an NHS QR code poster to assist NHS test and trace and store names and contact details for those who ask to check in but do not have the app.
Advance tickets only. To control numbers and facilitate speedy entrance to the venue, tickets must be bought online in advance. Admission will not be allowed without possession of a valid ticket.
